When I first started this site, the idea was to play and write about one game a week. I began by playing games in January of 2025, building up a backlog of games to write about, then started this site in late May with twice weekly updates every month since June 2025. Two updates a week allowed me to finish writing about the games I had played at a pace that would put me at 52 games played and written about for the year. I shot past the initial goal of 52 games played, hitting 70 by the end of the year, and have continued to update twice a week since, even going so far as updating once a day in December. This is, as I always knew it would be, a bit unsustainable with changing things up a bit.

As the next game I cover will be game number 100, I figured now would be as good a time as any to implement that change. It just so happens to fall pretty close to the one year anniversary of starting this site, which is a happy coincidence. I still plan on posting twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday, but the schedule will see a bit of tweaking.

A new game every Friday: Instead of writing about two games a week, I'll be going to the original plan of one game a week. Every Friday will be my thoughts on a new game that I have played. This change will hopefully allow me to play longer games without worrying about rushing through them, which has only recently been a problem. It will also primarily cover the full base game with DLC being covered here on a case by case basis.

New Game+, Shattered Destinies, and more every Tuesday: Pretty self explanatory. Much like with Fire Emblem: Three Houses, I'll post separate articles covering the game itself and any challenge run I may have done. This, along with expanding on my Shattered Destinies series, will all be released on Tuesdays, along with other types of posts. Interviews, top or bottom ten lists, anything that's not my thoughts on a new game will be lumped into the Tuesday updates.

Dpademy Awards 2026: December will still feature the Dpademy Awards, my tongue in cheek run down of some of the best or most notable games I've played during the year. These will be released on Tuesdays with any game I've played and covered from December 2025 to the end of November 2026 being eligible.
